MCAST Teens Summer Courses 2017

Are you a student aged 12 to 16? Still don’t know how to spend the upcoming summer days?

Why not consider a short course at MCAST, where you can explore a wide variety of fun programmes while making new friends who also share your own interests, passion and talents?

MCASTeens summer programmes give you access to the world of vocational education. Choose from a range of courses, from pet grooming to make-up skills, from photography to electronics, from robotics to welding and even game creation and cooking classes, amongst many more!

How to Apply

Applications for the MCASTeens Summer Courses may be downloaded from here.

Alternatively, applications are also available from The Office of Part-Time Courses. The application form should be completed and returned together with full payment to: The Office of Part-Time Courses, MCAST Main Campus, Students' House, Corradino Hill, Paola PLA 9032. Applications will be received between Thursday 1st June and Friday 16th June 2017.

Candidates may also apply by registering online on shortcourses.mcast.edu.mt.

Enrolment Conditions

  • MCAST reserves the right not to run a course if there are insufficient applications or for any other reason deemed important by the College, in which case payment will be refunded in full.
  • Applicants must be between 12 and 16 years.
  • Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No applications will be accepted without full payment.
  • Cheques are to be made payable to ‘MCAST Gateway to Industry Ltd’.
  • Kindly read the CHECKOUT conditions carefully before proceeding to submit an online application.
  • Applicants are encouraged to view the course outline available on the website www.mcast.edu.mt/shortcourses or contact the MCASTeens Office prior to applying for a course.
  • By default all listed courses are delivered in Maltese. Non-Maltese speaking applicants are to contact the Office of Part-Time Courses before applying in order to verify whether the course can be delivered in English.
  • Applicants registering for a second course are eligible for a 5% discount on both courses. When registering for a third course, applicants are eligible for a 10% discount on all three courses!

Cancellation Policy

The course fee is non refundable for candidates who choose to withdraw their application. However it may be transferred to another course of the applicant’s preference. This has to be done prior to the closing date of the application period.

A full refund of the fee will be affected by MCAST in the event that the College is unable to provide the course.

Cancellation of Lectures

Cancellation of lectures will be communicated to students via SMS on the mobile number/s indicated on the application form.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate will be issued if attendance exceeds 80%. of course duration.

Candidates who wish to receive their certificate by post can do so at a fee of €4 to cover mailing costs.
