Department: Institute of Business Management and Commerce

Candidates must be in possession of:

  1. Accountancy qualification (MQF level 6 or 7) (ACCA or UOM);
  2. 3 years working experience.

The lecturing modules are as follow:

  • Advanced Bookkeeping
  • Final Accounts Preparation
  • Management Accounting: Costing
  • Indirect Tax (UK) 
  • Ethics for Accountants
  • Spreadsheets for Accounting.

Lectures will be held in the evening from 17:30 - 20:00

POST: MCAST Teens Summer Camp Project Leader.

POST:MCAST Teens Summer Camp Project Leader. 

18 weeks engagement

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Manager Training for Industry the applicant will be responsible for:

  • Planning and coordinating a seven-week summer camp for teenagers.
  • Overall supervision and co-ordination of the summer camp.
  • Receiving and processing applications.
  • Co-ordinating procurement of summer camp supplies and services.
  • Co-ordinating tasks with MCAST Administration and Institutes participating in this Summer Camp.
  • Engaging Lecturers, NGOs, entities, and helpers for Summer Camp.
  • Supervising and co-ordinating the budget for this project.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Academically qualified and fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
  • Preferably have at least 1-year relevant hands on experience in one or more of the following areas - Administration, Customer Care, Sales / Marketing, Event Planning or other related
  • Charismatic with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong intercultural and inclusive communication.
  • Motivated team leader with a results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Clean Police Conduct.

POST: Coordinator – Part Time Courses Office

POST: Coordinator – Part Time Courses Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Consultant-Part-Time Courses the applicant will be responsible for:

  • Overall supervision and co-ordination of daily operations within the Office of the Part-Time Courses.
  • Perform Market Research and identify market opportunities, trends and customer needs.
  • Manage customer-facing communication channels.
  • Assist Administrative Employees as necessary to improve face–to–face and telephone handling skills aimed at securing quality and excellence in customer service skills.
  • Support Administrative Employees in their communications with clients, particularly on sensitive issues, claims, demands and reports/feedback.
  • Manage outbound communications with information and/or guidance relative to MCAST part-time courses, and related client support.
  • Co-ordinate procurement related with the Part-Time Courses including;-
  • Sourcing quotations for goods and services.
  • Formatting feedback to the Finance Department and Management.
  • Assist in the decision-making process.
  • Co-ordinate tasks with the Admissions Department, Institutes, Institute Co-ordinators and internally within MG2i as well as MG2i clients for all part-time courses which are confirmed to start.
  • Vets contract requests and co-ordinates with the various Institutes for Lecturing, Co-ordinating and other services related with part-time courses.
  • Liaises internally within MG2i and the College on various matters, including securing course information and other details as required by the Part-Time Courses Office.
  • Supervises and co-ordinates updating and amendments to part-time course information published on the MG2i web-site.
  • Analyse course-booking data and produce periodic statistics as required.
  • Collate, co-ordinate and update Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in areas related with Business and Commerce.
  • Preferably have at least 1-year related experience in one or more of the following areas;- Administration, Finance / Accounting, Customer Care, Sales / Marketing, Data Analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting, along with any other areas above will be considered an asset.
  • Academically qualified and fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
  • Charismatic with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Motivated team leader with a results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively.
