DIY Home Maintenance

This is a 40 hour course.  Lessons are held as indicated on the prospectus and website.

This course will give to learners an insight about odd jobs around the house. 

The areas of study include;

•  Plumbing,
•  Electrical,
•  Woodwork,
•  Painting and decorating. 

The course will give learners an introduction to the basic toolbox for home maintenance such as:

•  Basic application and procedures in the use of tools
•  Material handling

Applicants should preferably have a basic level of literacy and numeracy.

An MCAST Certificate of Attendance will be given to students attending more than 80% of lectures. 

There are no summative assessments in this course.
