Internal Auditor Training Course

This course gives a holistic view of internal auditing and the role of the internal auditor.  This course offers a practical overview about the internal auditing processes which are suitable for all management systems since auditing is a technique that ensures activities within an organization are being performed effectively.

This course provides participants with the essentials of auditing by providing knowledge, skills and confidence needed to complete effective internal audits.  Participants will be provided with the fundamentals of audit practice as well knowledge on how to plan, prepare, perform and report the audit.  When the course is completed the participants should be able to understand how the internal auditor and the audit process contributes towards determining the effectiveness of the organisation’s management system in achieving the declared business objectives

This is a 24 hr guided learning course.  Students need to invest further hours in the course, which will include private study.

  • Basic supervisory skills.

                Entry requirements:


  • Completed Compulsory Education. 

      An MCAST Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all students attending more than 80% of lectures.

      There are no summative assessments in this course.

      There are no additional costs or special materials/equipment to bring, but a computer plus internet is needed.
